The oilseeds extruder is widely applied to rice bran, soybean, rapeseed, corn germ, and other oil-bearing materials. Through extrusion, the material structure is modified into a porous and permeable form, improving solvent penetration and extraction performance.

Working Principle
Oilseeds are fed into the extruder and subjected to mechanical and thermal effects, including extrusion, shearing, kneading, and steam conditioning.
Under high temperature and pressure, the cellular structure is disrupted and oil is released. When discharged through the die, the material undergoes instant pressure drop, causing moisture evaporation and expansion.
The final product is a porous, expanded material with improved permeability and suitable physical strength for solvent extraction.

Process Benefits
Improved Extraction Efficiency
Expanded structure increases solvent permeability and reduces extraction time.
Higher Plant Capacity
Improved bulk density and material flow enhance extractor throughput.
Reduced Residual Oil
More complete cell rupture leads to lower oil content in meal.
Lower Energy and Solvent Consumption
Higher mixed oil concentration reduces steam and solvent usage.
Enhanced Oil Quality
Enzyme inactivation improves crude oil stability and refining performance.

Process Integration
The extruder is typically installed before solvent extraction and can be integrated into different process routes:
Rice Bran
Cleaning → Conditioning → Extrusion → Solvent Extraction
Soybean
Cleaning → Cracking → Dehulling → Flaking → (Extrusion) → Solvent Extraction
Pre-pressed Cake
Pre-pressing → Crushing → Extrusion → Solvent Extraction
Extrusion improves the performance of downstream equipment such as extractor and DTDC, increasing capacity and reducing energy consumption.
